Storks
When you come to Alfaro you can not miss visiting the storks, they deserve their own getaway, they capture all the interest of adults and children. The viewpoint located behind the Collegiate Church of San Miguel will leave you dumbfounded. Try to visit the Interpretation Center of the Sotos del Ebro, there they will explain the reason for this concentration of storks in such a specific point.
Ancestors
A walk through the center of the city will make us discover temples and palaces with centuries of history, witnesses of the ancient splendor of the place, as evidenced by the old Abbey or Abbey Palace (eighteenth century), or the Collegiate Church of San Miguel, masterpiece of the Baroque of the late seventeenth century. As a Roman legacy we have the archaeological site of the Eras de San Martín and the Roman Nymphaeum, a set declared of Cultural Interest.
